With Wikipedia recently coming out in protest of SOPA and related acts, a lot of congress is backing off that steaming pile of horseshit like it has the ebola virus. I highly doubt it will be passed.

This has been going on for months. In 2010 our wonderful government tried to pass a similar bill but failed.
This time they tried harder but have failed up to this point.
